The iWire System™ lets you equip a building with secure, reliable high-speed Internet and data access. Using proven powerline communications technology (PLC) that leverages a building’s existing electrical infrastructure, the iWire System is ideal for multi-occupancy sites that need broadband Internet access quickly and with minimal disruption.

Whether you're putting in Internet service for your customer or installing a system for your own use, the iWire System works with any type of Internet signal and any type of building to transform a building's internal electrical wiring into an intelligent broadband networking platform. In addition to apartment buildings, condominiums, hotels and retirement homes, it's also great for hard-to-serve, hard-to-reach, harsh environments such as buildings with asbestos, historical buildings and older office/warehouse/airport buildings.
In summary, the iWire System converts your in-building electrical system into a high-speed platform for data, video and voice. By connecting the Gateway to the Internet router for your building, and then linking to the Couplers that interface with the safety switches and circuit breaker panels, you've transformed every electric outlet in your building into a place the end user can access high-speed Internet and data services.

These end users immediately have access to the following services:
With iWire System's proven, patented powerline communications (PLC) technology, you can convert every power outlet in every room to a high-speed data network connection, including applications such as: high-speed Internet connectivity, VoIP telephony, local area networking (LAN), video conferencing, closed circuit video surveillance and security, energy, building management and a host of other information services.

Gateway - the "Brain" of the iWire System, the Gateway converts IP connections to a PLC signal and distributes PLC to the Coupler. Through a web or CLI interface, the Gateway allows management and configuration of the other components and supports up to 1,023 users. |

Coupler takes the PLC signal from the Gateway or eXtender and injects that signal into the in-building electrical wiring. Installation of the Coupler requires licensed electrician to meet National Electric Code (NEC) and local electric code standards. |

eXtender™ provides additional reach and scalability for networks that cannot be properly covered by a single Gateway or in multi-building environments. The eXtender can be used with wireless radio or wireline networks. |

Client unit: iBridge enables a user to connect a computer or IP device to the PLC network. The iBridge contains "test' function to determine the PLC signal strength. RJ45 user port connection. |
“We were looking for the quickest way we could provide Internet
access to our owners with a minimal upfront expense and wanted to provide
it in a way that impacted our owners the least.”
